Can anyone recommend a reliable auto repair shop ? I looked at Gus Mann Automotive, Beldens automotive(fredericksburg) and CaRX (west ave.) but I am not sure which one to go for repairs and periodic maintenance. Please shareyour experiences with these shops if you have tried them. Thanks.

belden's is highly recommended and has their own radio show where they provide advice on the weekends. Thousand oaks automotive is also AAA approved, I believe.

Belden's has a shop at 281 and bitters, so you don't have to drive to Boerne unless you just want to.

We use Bert at 281 and Thousand Oaks and have for 12 years. He has quite a following.
Last week our 2005 Suburban made a loud noise and stopped moving leaving us stranded in the middle of the road. We had AAA tow it to Bert's. DH told Bert to fix it and that he didn't need to call us unless it was over $500.00. Imagine our shock when Bert called 2 hours later and told us the car was ready and the repair was only $45.00.
We know nothing about cars and he could have charged us anything. Amazing IMO.

Cornerstone Automotive at Blanco and Bitters. I've never used a shop that I like more than this place.

i dont know about AAA, but we've used Lester's Automotive in Boerne for years.
305 S Main St
Boerne, TX 78006
(830) 816-2504‎

One thing about them, they always have the car done on time, they never "add or" or come up with gotchas, and they've alwasy repaired the car right and at a great price. i wont go elsewhere.
