Has Anyone Ever Tried The Wal-Mart Brand Frozen Pizzas? (Murphy: home, tax)

HEB's are good and taste close to Digiorno's (the rising crust one) but they are too damn greasy unlike the name brand. I saw that walmart has their own brand of pizzas and have also all the variations like rising crust, thin crust, Foccatia......So has anyone had one? Do they taste like the name brand (digiorno)? And hopefully, they're not as greasy like HEB's brand.

I have a WM pizza sitting in the freezer, but that'll be the first one of those we've tried. I agree that the HEB brand pizzas are tasty. If you like more unusual pizzas, the Central Market brand is good, too.

It's not frozen, but Papa Murphy's is pretty dang good, they make the pizza fresh, you take it home and pop it in the oven. Their gourmet pizzas are loaded with ingredients. Reasonably priced, and no delivery fee or tip to worry about, plus they don't charge tax because it's considered grocery.

I agree. They are my favorite!!! I just wish the one by me was outside 1604 instead of inside 1604 (for traffic reasons). Oh well...... maybe that is a good thing, too much pizza can be a bad thing

We've had the WM brand, the frozen, as well as the one's in the deli. The Frozen one's are good. The thing about WM brand is they "skimp" on their product. The pizza tastes fine, the crust, a little thin, and not really flush with topping. Same with their other products, they make a good utilitarian replacement, but in every instance, you can definitely tell it's a knock-off. The cereals are just not quite as full, crunchy, the frozen fries are more thin, shoestring type, the pasta sauce is watery, their sodas are ok and the deli pizzas in the front are good.
I've bought a lot of their products, but if youre a picky eater, or have people that are in your household, then you will have left-overs.

See HEB's are real good and don't "skimp" anything but like I said, they are greasy as hell and Digiorno's aren't.

Have tried the Wal-mart deli pizza and enjoy them (particularly the pepperoni). My husband prefers them to HEB.

OMG yes! Getting out of that HEB parking lot at rush hour can be a mess! It does cut down on the pizza eating though, maybe it is a good thing

We have had the WM Deli pizza's several times. I guess we have been lucky since they were always loaded with toppings.

We did learn that they have to be cooked at a lower temp and a little more time.
