Does any one out there know if any of this is still available in the SA area. They bottled it on Feb the 27 and from what I understand it doesn't stay on the shelves very long. I would love to buy a case and take it to Boston for my son's upcoming graduation, thanks.

The Gabriel's superstore at Blanco and 1604 is probably your best bet. Many times they have hard to find beers stashed away in the cooler. Just ask one of the sales associates.

St. Arnold's, yum! Some of my very favorite brews come from St. Arnold's. Spec's should have it, and if they don't, they can get it from Houston I am sure.

I know Chester's Hamburgers has a large selection of beer. I'm not sure if they have that one, but it's worth a shot. You can buy it and take it w/you.

Thanks everyone for the help I called 3 Specs stores two were already sold out, one in Kerrville had not received any yet and the fourth one had it but told me I could only get one six pack and one I think they called it a slammer or bomber a 24oz single. I wrote down the address it's a pretty new store on E. Rector unfortunately I went to Ramsey instead of Rector driving up and down looking for that address but they didn't go that high. To complicate matters, I couldn't call I had forgotten my cell phone, leaving home so quickly being very excited that I had found some St. Arnold Divine # 13. When I looked at my note I saw I had written Rector not Ramsey so I hurried to Rector entered the # into my GPS and of course it only went to 699 and I was looking for 819 I drive until I hit the freeway I parked in front of TJ Max totally frustrated and hoping to use their phone. As I am getting out of my truck I looked acrross the road and there is the huge Spec's sign over the glass doors but not facing Rector the store faces the freeway. Anyway there is a happy ending to the story I went in and got my one 6 pack and after insisting to the manager that one of his employees had said I could have both, he reluctantly let me have a 24oz what ever you call it as well. So all I can say is if it was this hard to buy beer all the time, I'd be a teetotaler. I am saving this beer for a very special occasion in about a month. I will share the tasting experience with you after that time and let you know if all the hassle was worth it, thanks.

The more expensive beers use more expensive ingredients and, in the case of this 11% ABV brew, a lot more of 'em. But it's only $2.50 per bottle and most of us would consider that a bargain price for BudMillerCoors swill at any bar or restaurant.

Life's too short to drink bad beer.
