Joe Ball, dubbed "The Alligator Man", killed at least 20 women and fed their remains to his alligators in the 1930s. He ended up killing himself and a film was made about him.

Genene Jones is the well known nurse that killed as many as 46 kids under her care during the 1970s and early 80s.

The Railroad Killer began his spree that took at least 16 lives in Uvalde.

David Villarreal was a drifter that killed people in San Antonio and Dallas.

Any other local serial killers to add to the list?

I don't think there's any money in the serial killing biz, though. Most money is made off the books and movies and they're usually dead or rotting in jail by then.

Impossible. They have plenty of their own. Stuff a normal person can not even fathom.

No...I think that's our quota. Seems like Wisconsin is a good place to find them. They can keep bodies on ice up there longer in the winter.

Joe Ball story I've known for many years actually. Took place in Elmendorf, Texas part of S.A. far as I'm concerned. The most heartbreaking murders I'll not soon forget were of four south side teens. Think this happened early morning April 15, 1988. Seems longer .Took place about half way between S.W. Military Drive and Loop 410 in "Villa Grande" trailer park. Just down the street from where I lived during H.S days. Gruesome murders. Here is the story!

In my reading about Joe Ball, from a book by a deputy sheriff that investigated Joe Ball, he killed two women that worked for him as waitresses. At his bar/club he did have an alligator pit in back and for entertainment they put stray dogs in the pit. The alligators were later taken to the Allagator Garden next to the Witte Museum. And after the Garden closed were placed in the San Antonio Zoo.

I'm not aware of any other killings by Joe Ball.
