I was on Wiseman this afternoon about 4:20pm and the volume of traffic heading from 1604 to Talley was extremely heavy.

is there stuff back there now? I haven't been down there in at least a year and last time I was, there was nothing but me, another car, and a cop enforcing that stupid 35 MPH speed limit (not sure if it has that still). I had a radar detector, he didn't

Along that stretch I saw Cottonwood Way which goes to the new NISD High School and into Alamo Ranch. That's about it except for a few head of cattle.

hmm, I'll have to check it out some time. hopefully the speed limit isn't still 35. that was painful with nothing out there, but my radar detector saw the cop and I just smiled at the guy driving by me at about 50..

What brand of Radar Detector do you use? My Son and I both have Whistler's. (I can't tell you the model since my truck is at the office in the parking garage and my Son is at school) I know that Whistler is not the most expensive but I have found them able to pick up at a long distance and they are rated pretty good. The ones that we have now have a three year warranty.

yep, it's a $35 Whistler I got from buy.com. Works great and has more than paid for itself many times over.

so where is this light anyhow? Wiseman "works". I can't stand it and it's retarded, but it functions. They definitely need to adjust it so 1604 gets more time and Wiseman gets a lot less.

Her... O.K., so maybe I won't be remembered for my spelling. Or maybe I will, depends on how you look at. Either way, I'll be remembered.
