wow........i live behind on talley road and i commute to I-10 and huebner every morning. it takes about an hour to get from talley to i-10 and huebner, and on a good day i can make it in 45 minutes. you're pretty much doubling my trip.

Is the job located anywhere near Pat Booker Rd because that place can be a nightmare around 5pm. That really is quite a drive IMO. I used to travel from the UC area to Babcock and that was pretty tough, I would see the traffic coming and going and it was usually bzy both ways. It would really eat up into my evening and time with my kiddos. Not sure if that is something you need to take into consideration.

I've created a map of 8AM traffic i've seen when i drive eastbound on 1604. 1604 moves quite well compared to 610 in houston or even 410 here.

thank you for the input, i was looking at the map and it looked as though 1604 may be the one to take. The job is located near northeast lakeview....mapquest said aboout 40 minutes, but i know traffic on 1604 pass stoneoak area can be crazy...has anyone drove near this area around the 8 am commute time?

That's gonna be an ugly trip anyway you cut it!! I couldn't think of a worse scenario. I'd consider moving closer to work seriously. Good luck......time you hit the road is probably pretty important. You'll probably find best route by trial and error.

During those hours, no way no how! Unless, of course, you are a masochist!

I'm shocked that it takes 45 minutes to Huebner. Yikes. Bring some good music. 1604 is horrible. I hope the job is worth it caligal!
