Don't forget! It's this Tuesday, October 6th. Anyone doing anything this year?
We have our usual block party planned. Maybe if we get rain this weekend we can have a little fire. The local police came by last year and stayed for awhile. it was really nice.

It's gonna be another fun night of weenies in the driveway! LOL Just having a small get-together with the cul-de-sac and the side street....and whoever else stops on the way by. We had a little kick-off meeting last night and they gave us all some door prizes to give out, plus some plates, napkins, etc. Plus, this weekend there will be some more goodies to pick up for our parties.....our association has it goin' on!

Yeah, I don't go to the "let's duke this out" meetings. Just the "let's eat and give out prizes" meetings.

phooey! I couln't go to the meeting Sapphire! Hubby is out of town AGAIN & I didn't think I should bring my kidlets?
I don't even have a clue if anyone on our street (or close) is doing anything for NNO. Is there a central area over here or just street by street? If it is street by street & we have nothing over here, can we come over to your driveway? :-P

Of course you can come to my driveway! Someone on your block may be having a party, but you're definitely welcome to my shindig! And your kids would have been fine at the meeting.....my 13 year old got dragged along with me, and several people had little ones there. They got a little rowdy towards the end, but that's typical......they were some cute little girls and they were hyped up on sugar and spice!

There are 11 (I think?) parties registered for our neighborhood.....

We just moved into our home but have met the neighbor to the left of us and hopefully we will be able to meet everyone else. Was able to participate a few years back when we lived in Westover Place and loved it. Very cool and i think it should be done more often.

dangit! I should have brought them! Didn't want to be the only one walking in with kids.

Will you DM me exactly where you are & we'll do our best to mosey over that way I'm looking forward to meeting more folks around here. So far, the neighbors we've met have been super nice & I'm very glad we moved into Silver Creek!

Ask for donations.

Both local and national places for sure. Or even coupons or special offers from local restaurants. Always makes for good give aways and prizes.
