Nope. If I've made the decision to eat it, then I am willing to pay the treadmill price.

That stuff is too good--luckily it's so rich that you don't want it all the time. I was lucky enough to be given the "recipe" by the super-nice cook at Bolner's. They have extremely delicious cream corn.

By the way, Bolner's BBQ ain't bad. When I lived near Leon Springs I didn't go to Rudy's much! Get Bolner's brisket rub..put it on your trimmed brisket, wrap in foil and throw in your oven. If you like smoked brisket throw in the pit for 30 mins. or less. Results ..better brisket than you can buy anywhere here!! I don't know why they choose to build where they do!!

My little secret!!

I've made it but I've never put sour cream in it. My recipe calls for cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, and sugar. It is made in a crock pot and cooked for about 4 hours. hmmmm, gonna have to try the sour cream

"Rural" locations (in metro areas) with gas stations were part of their original model for the biz. As some point they dropped the gas station requirement. A quick search of their other locations might tell you if they are now opening in large city limits.

You can actually feel your arteries hardening while you eat it. If you made it without sour cream and it tasted fine....leave it out! I've made it twice now and it's just so good. Saves me from going all the way down there to pick it up. But they have good bbq'd meat also....it looks awful to be honest--I almost left but it smelled so good I stayed, and boy was I glad. The presentation is not the best, but it passes the taste test for sure. Oh, and the corn--first time I saw it, it looked all dried out and gross. Again, glad I was hungry enough to try it.

Proof we can't satisfy everyone. People complain anytime a chain adds another location and then complain when they don't have enough. :/

Btw, if you haven't tried Bolner's "Garlic Salad Dressing" you should. It's powdered spices and great to mix with butter to spread on French bread or any bread! I mix it with lemon pepper and lemon juice to dip chicken "Wings" in. Great all purpose product which may make a great sprinkle for corn ......or a seasoned butter.

"Heaven"

If Rudy's ever gets their stuff together they'll probably be more locations!
