I need suggestions on a nice, clean broading kennel. I have 2 dogs one of which is 6lbs. and has never been boarded. My husband and I will have to fly together back to Tennessee to close on our house. I have afew weeks before we have to go and I would like to go and check out some places ahead of time. I am very picky about where and who I leave my dogs with. I need something in the north area Blanco, 281, Huebner,1604 or Stone Oak. Something close to these areas. I don't mind driving thou if it is an exceptional place. I would like to now your experience with a kennel or boarding place. I can't have a pet sitter come because we are in an apartment and I just don't feel comfortable. If they barked alot someone would call on me.

We have been using Camp Bow Wow off of Jones-Maltsberger/Starcrest. They're awesome with the dogs. Can't recommend anyone any higher. Priced well too.

don't have any dogs...but also heard Camp Bow Wow is a nice place...also Pawderosa Ranch by the airport. Think Pawderosa also lets you park your car at their place and they will shuttle you to the airport and pick you up when you return. Added bonus.

Pawderosa Ranch is near the airport....I use them in Schertz...they allow the dogs to be out and wander all day and kennels only at night. I love them. No matter where you put them, make sure that you get them their bordetalla(sp?) shots done. No kennel will accept them without it.

Yorkiemomm......if you have a vet established here, check with them - many vet clinics offer boarding. Our vet clinic (O'Connor Road Animal Hospital) offers boarding and we have always been very happy when we boarded the dogs there. They didn't even mind me calling twice a day, for a report from the kennel manager, on how the dogs were doing
