I asked my husband about this after we caught the end of the story on the news tonite, and he says its not good obviously because not all the kids are going to react to the illness the same way (like other people have mentioned) Also he says that it can actually mutate and can affect the kids who were exposed worse than the original sick kid making it harder to get over.

You rub the egg on her/him and put the egg UNDER the bed AFTER he/she already got the evil eye.

Hmm...if the child died, the parent would have to live their lives knowing that they deliberately exposed their child to the virus that led to his/her death. I don't think so!

That's ridiculous for obvious reasons but also because the flu isn't like the chicken pox, something you typically only get once! get it at a "party," then get a different strain on another day - there's no protection. This sounds like child abuse and I would report it as such if I ever became aware of a party like that happening in my 'hood!

I think I might have to propose this idea to my friends. I can picture it now...we can have "swine flu" themed party. Everybody dresses as a type of pig, maybe with wings or something. We can have a punch called H1N1 that is really really strong. We can just party the night away "swine flu" style!
