Does this mean that once the complex is complete it will be full of Section 8 occupants? I'm not familiar with this whole concept, but i just found that a vacant lot close to my house will soon be an apartment complex which will be fianced through HUD. Any info/insight is appreciated. I also noticed that this went throught AACOG board approval recently, so i'm going to see if i can get more info through them.

Could be..are you (or do you have family) looking for an affordable place? Sounds like it would be nice and close by.

No it won't be, but Section 8 vouchers could be used by residents if they qualify. Most apartment complexes accept them but most will not tell you (most people would not like it) Kind of a bad deal if you pay 1000 a month and your neighbor sits at home and pays 340.

It depends. HUD has a number of different financing programs (some of which are completely market-rate). What did the public notice say?
