Does anybody know of an indoor basketball gym here in San Antonio where we can pay and play once a week (nothing fancy, just a place we can sweat out)?

Home Court America on Pinebrook. It's open 24/7 on weekdays.

There are games at Incarnate Word all the time, if you know people who work out there.

CreekKnoll, how do you go about renting from the city? What department handles that?

I don't think that the city has control over school gyms. You have to rent directly from the school district. At least that is the way with NISD buildings.

Sorry about that. For a recreational gym, you would go the parks and rec.
For a school gym, you would go through the school district itself.

The gym is 25 dollars an hour and if you charge people the fee goes up to 75 dollars an hour and you have to rent in 2 hour incriments. If you want to play for a league Afterhourssportsleague.com is really good. And school gyms rent for non-profit, but i dont know how much they are.
