I love this thread! I grew up at the Fiesta! My father, the late Charles Beall, was a veteran actor there and performed in many of the plays you all have mentioned. My siblings and I performed in several summer musicals and my mother played piano in the orchestra pit. We have the fondest memories of our time there...what a learning experience for a 9-12 year old! I played Marta (on the blonde cast of children) in The Sound of Music (1980?), one of Annie's sisters in Annie Get Your Gun (Dad played Buffalo Bill in that show), and Amaryllis in The Music Man (my twin brother played Winthrop and my older sister played the mayor's daughter). My husband and I just drove down 1604 last night while we were in town for an event and hardly recognized the area. I couldn't even see the theater any more! Does anyone know if it's been torn down?

No, the building is still there, but it has been expanded from the original footprint. It is the current home to St. Thomas Episcopal Church and School.

Thanks for the reply. That whole area has just exploded with development and I couldn't remember what exit we usually took to get there.
