Gun shows will work as well, but expect to get a fairly broad range of estimates as most dealers will lowball you expecting to buy the firearm cheaper.

Also remember that "custom" doesn't always equal a much greater value. At the last Premier show, I saw a really beautiful customized Mosin that the seller wanted what he invested into the rifle. I understood his desire, but truth be told even with all that money into it he is never going to recoup it as it is still a $99 rifle...

Cheers! M2

Trust me, these are not $99 rifles.

Yee-haw! It’s time for the Premier San Antonio Gun Show again!

As most of you already know, this is the biggest and best gun show in Central Texas, perhaps even in the whole state! Over a thousand tables and one of the best venues for a gun show in the area. It does get crowded but the promoters keep the aisles nice and wide for everyone to walk and see what’s on the tables!

Dates are Saturday, 12 October and Sunday, 13 October 2013 at the Freeman Expo Hall next to the AT&T Center (3201 East Houston Street) here in beautiful San Antonio.

Hours are Saturday from 9am to 5pm, and Sunday 10am to 4pm.

General admission is still only $8 (cash only), weekend passes are $12 (also cash only) and children UNDER 12 and Uniformed Peace Officers get in free!

Public parking is $5 per vehicle (it’s a city lot, so the promoters have no control over this).

Befriend Premier Gun Shows on Facebook and learn the secret word that gets you a dollar off entry posted before every show!

More information can be found here: Premier San Antonio Gun Show.

Cheers! M2

Just a friendly reminder that the Premier show is in four days! It's definitely worth the time and money to go to! It is the one most enthusiasts in the area wait for!

We went yesterday morning, the crowd wasn't too bad and there were a lot of good deals to be had! One of my buddies picked up a sweet M1 Garand and another a Noveske AR.

The next Premier show in San Antonio will be December 14 & 15, and I suspect that will be a popular show being so close to Christmas. If you weren't able to make it to the show this weekend, definitely plan to go to that one. I know we'll be there!

Cheers! M2
