This is my new favorite pizza place.

I'd driven past it several times (281/Bitters/Heimer). It's such a hole in the wall, I didn't really expect much. But then I heard it featured on 99.5 KISS "National Pizza Month" during October.

I visited a few weeks ago and I and ordered a beef/ham small pizza. I thought it was okay. Not too impressed. But I kept wondering what the all the raves were about. I noticed the place was pretty packed when I went in, too. Plus, they sold it by the slice, too.

So, I went back there again last week. I tried two slices of their plain pepperoni. It was amazing. I'm not usually a pepperoni guy either. I've been thinking about it ever since then.

Nothing unusual. Just good, traditional pizza. Highly recommended.

I still say Caparelli's Pizza is the greatest on the planet. Deep dish !!!!!!! One bite is enough to fill the stomach of a grown man!! All you have to do is taste it ....it has no competition !! I strongly recommend it!!

Yes, I've been there. I just don't know where they are anymore. The two closest locations show up on the internet, but I know they aren't located at either place anymore. (Blanco/410. Broadway/410)

Wow. You must not eat pizza much if you haven't been to your favorite place in 20 years.

Yep, well it was near where I worked at the time. We're a few miles away now from their old location and don't know where they are now. I really can't eat pizza much any more (stomach has prob with oregano i think). Think the boss took us there a couple times and a time or two at the shop. It was about $18.00 in early 90's. Probably small but about two inches deep. I'm no connoisseur but ..best pizza I've ever had.

Well, I'll agree. It is one of the best I've ever had also.
