Nope. Not my blog. A friend runs that site.

Just spreading the word around considering how many folks now are trying to do the green thing.

There are many resources in SA for those who are interested in sustainability.
  • San Antonio Sustainable Living (the group listed above) has a meetup the 4th Tuesday of every month at Whole Foods.
  • And just about every green event in town gets posted on the local Environment Meetup page (The San Antonio Environment Meetup (San Antonio, TX) - Meetup.com). Join that meetup and you'll hardly ever miss a notice of another local event.
  • I also highly recommend checking out EchoTown | Your "Green" Source, a combo site that has community forums, event calendars, and business listings so that people can consciously choose to patronize sustainable businesses.
  • If you're interested in energy and technology, the SA Clean Tech Forum is the heavy hitter in town... San Antonio Clean Technology Forum - Home. Serious events with big time speakers and many influential members who are shaping policy locally and regionally. Good for getting educated and for networking.
These are just the first resources that come to mind... certainly there are plenty more local SA resources for those who are interested in living consciously and sustainably. I, for one, get tired of the refrain that people who care about the world around them should just move to Austin. Be an agent of change right where you are... besides why would you give up these great tacos voluntarily?

Thanks for this! I've been wanting to network with other "greenies".
