Whitestone vs. Other builders in San antonio (Howe: home, inspection)

We are planning to build a 3000 sq ft custome home in san antonio. Could somebody please tell us about the whitestone builders. RELIABLE?? Who are the other best buidlers in San Antonio area?

Whitestone is a very respectable builder that keeps a Texas/Hill Country theme alive in their
finished product. One thing to keep in mind though is where you are building. Some
of the local municipalities have limited inspection capabilties and I have seen a 4 mo. build
take 9 mos. to a year. However I don't think Whitestone builds in any of those areas, to the
best of my knowledge. Other semi-custom builders with a proven track record are Sitterle
and Japhet. Somewhat depends on your budget. KB is a much maligned builder, but for
no real reason. Many people who have worked in the industry (fr constructio to sales)for
different tract builders ranks them high on their list.
