No its dangerous. STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY!!there are lots of poor people downtown, avoid all the bus stops, its where they all hang out. lots of latino youths roaming the streets, and the stadium youre talking about is probably the alamodome. thats near the eastside where most of the black people live. lots of crack addicts and prostitutes there. You will most likey be stabbed or shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I live on the East side, just east of I-37/281, and north of the Alamodome. As I said in a previous post, according to the city of San Antonio the population in my neighborhood is 75% Hispanic, 17% African American, 7% Anglo and 1% other. We're Anglo. I feel safe in my neighborhood. There are areas you want to avoid, but they're usually small pockets. It's unfair to classify the whole east side as a place to avoid. Vidorra Luxury Condos is a mile from my house, and condos there run from the $300,000 to around $1,000,000. And yes, it's east of I-37/281, right by the Alamodome.

yeah don't trust those poor people, bus riders, latino youths and blacks cause they are all evil. sounds like you know very little about downtown SA and i bet you live on the northside. why is it that alot of people on the northside know nothing about the rest of SA?
