Another busy intersection. If you do manage to make the exit be prepared to stay there til the morning rush hour abates. What were they thinkin' ???? The people setting this up shouldn't be able to carry anything sharper than crayons...

It was very very very successful at Central Park Mall (and that's a busy area, right?) It's one day. If it were a string of consecutive days it would be a pain, but one day out of the whole year. Just suck it up.

I heard this announced a few days ago on WOAI (I think). They said a lot of people complained that the Rim was too far north. I think the Rodeo is still trying to find a home after they moved from the original home.

I've always wondered why this is such a big deal here. You couldn't pay me to get up that early to join a massive throng of people.....to have breakfast.

What draws people to it?

These days anyone's looking for a deal......and that includes wasting $30 of gas looking for free food. LOL.

I've been and it was pretty fun. I did not eat the food though. It's just a kick off ceremony for the rodeo season.

I think it will be a good location, I'm glad to see it inside the loop.

In case anyone is wondering why we have it, it is for the "trail riders" who ride horses into SA to kick off the Rodeo. It is a fun experience, great crowds, music and more. I think the fact that the event is free is the biggest draw, not just the free food. No sane person would get up early and brave the crowd just for a couple free tacos.
