I've been wondering this for a while,
Why doesn't SA media cover the Houston Texans?

Seems almost impossible to find anything about the Houston Texans in San Antonio (not that I'm looking for it)

For television, the "focus groups" say the Cowboys so the stations put the Cowboy.

I couldn't care less if the Texans don't get much coverage and I wouldn't care if the Cowboys stopped getting their coverage, actually I wish for it on a daily basis.

FWIW, in baseball season, the pendulum swings the other way on the TV newscasts. We hardly hear about the Rangers and usually get highlights of Astros games. The newspaper seems to be more equitable about both cities' teams in both sports, although I have noticed that the Cowboys usually get the front page of the Sports section, while Texans stories appear within the section.

Seiously? S.A. Has a sour taste in their mouths since the Oilers ran for the hills of Tenessee. Given that and McNair's/Texans PR machine insular approach to the SA market and you get almost zero co
verage... 'love ya blue did the opposite-they held training camp in San Antonio. And that explains the sour taste my friend.

But I think the SA media should let the fans decide.

I don't care for the Cowboys or the Texans, but I'm getting a little tired of feeling like I constantly get the cowboys forced down my throat.
It's like it's almost a sin to say "The Cowboys suck" in San Antonio.

I've wondered the same thing. It's like "Cowboys, Cowboys, Cowboys, Cowboys lose, Cowboys lose, Cowboys, Cowboys, Texans have a winning season for the first time ever, Cowboys, Cowboys, Cowboys, Cowboys and Tony Romo loses the game in the last second, Spurs" during football season.

I'm from Houston so more Texans would be nice. Texans = Good. Cowboys = bad.

My favorite teams are the Texans and whoever is playing the Cowboys.
