We were in SA this past week and ended up at Casbeers @ The Church for a beer and munchies...not knowing that it was First Friday, we were first taken aback by the crowds, but when I realized what was going on, I was pleasantly surprised. It's very similar to Miami's Second Saturdays, which I love attending, so it made me happy that I could continue to go to similar events in SA...I loved the charm of the area, too...

Only real negative for King William is the lack of a grocery store. Not a deal killer for me...

Unfortunately? Please, the urbanists can talk a good talk, but this is what is really happening. Bye, bye po' folks, we want to be all urban now. Go play in the suburbs with the other icky people.

Your comment is uncalled for. I certainly hope with that attitude, you don't end up as my neighbor. (No, I don't live in the suburbs)

Urbanism is about diversity. Again, your comment does not reflect that at all.

I'm a happy suburbanite. No worries. And, I'm free to post as long as it's not against the TOS, so have a superfine day.

The diversity you speak of should not "push out the lower income people".

yep, a good grocerty store would be great, I also have trouble finding an easy access way to downtown when friends are visiting. They don't find this area 'walkable' and the busess stop running too early. plus, no good parking downtown.

Oh sweetie, I know it is within TOS but still clearly uncalled for. I am free to post my opinion on your dislike for "lower income people".

I wasn't worried about the fact if you are an happy suburbanite or not but that is great that you are.

Have a great day.

Schmoove comeback.

I don't dislike lower income people. I dislike the richers kicking them out of their homes. Because that is what truly happens. Then they pooh-pooh the suburbanites from their high horses.

Sickening, although it can be humorous.

More vintage Sapphire!

What a classic. This one's going on the bulletin boards.

(Oh, and don't forget to change your status to call me a stalker)
