Last month my bill was 122$, now it is 130$, for no reason whatsoever.

Anyone experience the same?

The fees that cable companies pay cable networks for programming seem to go up every year. I haven't seen my bill yet, but this is likely the month that this year's fees get passed along to subscribers in the form of a rate adjustment. If you don't like it, the solution is to make a subscription adjustment and downgrade your service.

you should check the charges and compare them against your previous bill. Each charge should match the previous month no matter how they break it down. if you see an increase anywhere except taxes (gotta love our government) that may be a discrepancy.

i had time warner for 2 months, it was 83 the first month, and 127 the second month, they wouldn't adjust it saying it was no fault of their own, yet there was a 50 dollar charge of an at&t phone that wasn't installed, asked for, or used, so that was the last month i had Time Warner.

Like Bowie said, my satellite bill went up in the HD charges area last month, so i called for a lower rate, they wouldn't go as low as i wanted them to, so i'm going without HD for a month and then call to "upgrade" and get my original discount again, gotta save the pennies to pay my college bill. thats one thing i miss about time warner, no free HD...

My solution is going to be Netflix and Clear. $8.99 and $40 monthly makes me much happier than the current $180 my bill has snuck up to in the last 6 months. I hate TW.

And, throw in a little Redbox now and then, if I absolutely HAVE to.

I saw a $5 increase in my bill in December 2009. It used to be $41 and some change, now it's $45 and change. Right now, Time Warner is still a good deal for our household that only needs the internet.

Why don't you like clear? I don't know anyone who has it but it's going for $40 a month now, $15 more for mobile internet. Don't think I need the mobile piece but I am so sick of forking over money to TW for garbage tv that I'm willing to jump ship to clear sight unseen.

From basic standard to basic. More programs are going to the digital service and you'll be forced to rent a CABLE BOX for your CABLE READY tv....

Service is flaky and coverage areas aren't performing that well yet. Clear should have taken care of the coverage before starting up and doing the "improve reception as we grow" thing. That alone will keep people from signing up. It's irritating...
