Mmmmmm...Rudy's! It's moved over the years, but I believe its first location was on Nogalitos behind the Handee Ice convenience store. I must've been around 10 years old....so eons ago!*lol* I think their prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. When I was home over the holidays, I ordered the Super Family, which usually has 15 pieces of fish, a boatload of fries, tartar sauce, lettuce/tomato and a few slices of bread for just under $20. More often than not, they tend to give you more pieces of fish than the menu board indicates. I love their fish!

I've never been but I just talked to someone who goes there and she said it was GREAT food. She said it gets very crowded in there and they only take CASH, no cards.

It's always crowded in the parking lot afternoons...Must be good I suppose. Though all these years living near and passing it frequently never stopped. The "Texan" at Division and Pleasanton Rd. has had their fish bragged about too. It's been around at least 50 years as i ran around in there as a child. Cap't Jims on Roosevelt( Fried Chicken and fish) gets lots of customers. Bought their Chicken on occasion in the past, not sure about fish.
