God bless you and your family Swinny, for honoring members of our military. I think this should be a new tradition that we should start here in the U.S. I haven't heard of it before. It is such a great thing to do,it is the way we can show honor to all our military & bring comfort and peace to their families; just to make some kind of effort to let them know they are appreciated, and not forgotten, and to let them know they have made a world wide difference in their career to be a world changer. Andy, your website is WONDERFUL! I am still trying to get ahold of Lisa again for you, as promised, and will do everything in my power. Hopefully we can fill in the blank spot in your memorial.

God shower blessing on you and your family for such love and dedication to those that gave so much trying to defend the freedoms of others.

PS...I love the pic of you and your family, now we get to put a face to such kind people that live so far away!

Andy

I used to visit JFC Brunssum when I was assigned to NATO at SHAPE in Mons, it is beautiful there and I think I speak for everyone when I saw we are all very appreciative of your taking care of the graves of our soldiers who rest in your country.

I now live in San Antonio and if I can help in any way, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Cheers! (or should I say Grtz!) M2

And if I may piggyback on this, there was a similar thread to this for another WWII vet from San Antonio, 1Lt John E Caldwell Jr., also buried in the American Cemetery of Magraten in The Netherlands. I never got a reply from the USAF Historians Office at Maxwell, I may give it another shot. But if anyone else can add to the info already provided there, I am sure Jack Kuyten, who tends Lt Caldwell's gravesite, would be grateful.

Cheers! M2

If you read this , please would you like to regain contact with me.
I wrote you a lot of emails but there came no answer back.
I really would like to speak to you.
I don't know what happened , or what I did wrong.
Please let me know.
My son doesn't understand what happened and would really like to know more about Gustavo
