We need to paint our front gate too. But I'm not gonna take any chances.
I wanted cool weather this weekend 'cause we are doing our annual "camp out" in the pasture. I know it sounds crazy, but it's actually tons of fun.

Not crazy at all, sounds like fun. Especially if you do it every year!!

Well we have now had more rain this year than all of last year... 14.45 inches year to date, only 13.76 all of last year.

We are about 9 inches behind average for this date.

Amen to that, Steve. I felt like I was in the DC area again. Brisk afternoon with some cloud cover had me looking for leaves that were changing colors. (I was brought back to reality when I looked at live oaks that were as green as ever...)

I LOVE this weather! I wanted through the longest hottest dryest summer ever for it to finally get this nice outside, and I will appreciate each and every day it's this nice.

my SeaWorld Weatherbug is currently showing the temp as 59!!
and you can definitely feel the north wind when you step outside. I think it's safe to say it probably will not get up to 100 again this year, except for this is Texas... Was it last year that we were over 90 during the day and then had snow that night or was it earlier this year? That was some wild weather there.
