Caught some sleet in S.A. this afternoon, then a little flurry...minor. Also minor flurry from Helotes to where I live. I'm underimpressed!

Don't worry, it'll be bankrupt by then. You'll get your snow!

Wow, pretty chilly this morning, wasn't it? Had to scrape ice from my car windows, luckily I still have my scraper from Germany!

By the way, saw way too many people driving this morning with ice on their car windows!

While it may not get as cold anymore, it's still normal to expect a freeze from now until late March/April. But, I think that's it. Hopefully it won't get that hot this summer. Should be a nice year weather wise.

LOL and YIKES. But that's freakin' hilarious.... he's rockin' the crown!

That 15 minute event we had at work didn't count as "snow" anyhow - Steve Browne will beack me up on that, too! :P

From the Farmers Almanac for our area:

Annual Weather Summary: November 2009 to October 2010
Winter will be colder than normal, on average, from the Metroplex north and westward, with near-normal temperatures elsewhere. The coldest periods will occur in the second week of December, early to mid-January, and early to mid-February. Precipitation and snowfall will be near or slightly below normal. The most significant snow and ice will occur in mid-December, early January, and early and mid-February.

April and May will be warmer then normal, with near-normal rainfall.

Summer will be hotter and drier than normal, with the hottest periods from late June through the first half of July and in early to mid-August. The likelihood of a major hurricane is below normal.

September and October will bring near-normal temperatures, on average, with slightly below normal rainfall.

They were certainly right about the "wetter than normal" starting in Oct 09, and they seem to have it spot on for the cold/snow events for us, so let's see how close they come to perdicting the summer.

If the almanac is on the accurate side, we should be very thankful for all of the rain we have been getting and hopefully it continues. The almanac mentions another dry summer to look forward to, what about extreme heat of 100 or higher..........I hope not!
