So whats up with all of the rain NE of here?

Any chances of it making its way down here before it dissipates?

It's already outflowing out/collapsing. Won't make it here, and unfortunately that little disturbance may make it even hotter tomorrow/later this week.

We could be flirting with all-time record high temperatures this weekend.

What, licked your paws? Hmm..."crazy" sounds like an appropriate word for dressing like that in triple digits!

Pebble Beach looks like a getaway that would make SA's heat become a distant memory fast. I lived in Seattle for a few years and remember wearing a light jacket to play golf on the 4th of July. We just have to remind ourselves here in San Antonio that the other 9 months make up for the unpleasantness this time of year...

I spent two summers in Monterey and know the June Gloom well. It was funny to see the tourists come in looking for beach weather and having to spend a lot of cash on sweaters and jackets..

as far as my clothes on a motorcycle, I'm not a big fan of road rash.. those fools wearing t-shirts and shorts can have at that all they want.

I know what you mean about the riders cruising along in heavy traffic with shorts and t-shirts. Having ridden a motorcycle for years it gives me a shudder every time I see somebody with so much skin exposed to the potential skid on the asphalt.

The absolute thing that gets me about bikers is when they wear sandals. I've heard of too many horror stories of people getting their toes stuck and ripped out from a wheel's spokes.

Some rain on the radar this morning, there is a chance they make it, but it may pass a touch south/east of town.

EDIT: Storms are having a hard time combating high pressure. They are falling apart as they approach LaGrange and Hallettsville. Still a slight chance we get additional storms fire later.
