We got some pretty good rain last night and lots of lightning, but I think we need a LOT more before everything is back to green. It seems like my yard just sucks it all in and still wants more.

and I traded that beyond awful game for the rain last night, so it wasn't a total loss..

I was there The ump at the softball game saw lightening so he called all the girls off the field. We had been watching the radar on another mom's phone. We all ran to the dugout to get our kids so we could head home. The coach said, 'we are going to wait this out for 15 minutes'. Whateva, we all grabbed our kids and went home. It was a horrible 50 mile ride back home. You could just barely see the street and driving in hail is never fun. Then, get this, we are driving 40mph and some idiot passes us!!! I couldn't believe it.

Back to the weather thread.... we only got 1/2" rain lastnight. But it may have been blowing sideways so my raingauge may not be accurate.
What did everyone else get?

It is indeed very awesome video, thanks for posting Sapphire!

TXtrkgrl, other than awesome lightning displays last night, we ended up getting a couple of showers, heavy at times.

As for today, I wouldn't be surprised if a couple more storms pop up.
