Oh...WHEW!!! Here I thought this was considered Spring weather! I did open my windows for a couple hours this morning to gather in a bit of the nice cool breeze. Those mornings will probably be few and far between until ummm...January? LOL

Anthony, what are your predictions for the coming summer months in terms of temp averages?

Do you think we'll hit 100+ degrees often? I remember a few years ago when we hit 111 degrees! Hopefully that won't happen this year.

It is possible but this summer seems to be setting up for very humid high 90's.

Then I realized I'm not anthony and I step aside and wait for his reply.

You are right. Summer does not officially begin until June 21 in North America and ends Septemebr 20. But here in Texas, it sure feels like summer begins in May and ends in November!

Thanks Ryan, appreciate the compliments.

Yeah and I agree... 100s are a safe bet this summer. In fact, 2007 was the first time since 1978 that 100 degrees did not register at the San Antonio International Airport. This year with the high pressure ridge on top of us, it will only continue to trend warmer throughout the rest of the summer. Remember, as we get closer to summer, we will have more daylight and thus more heating from the sun. That little extra few minutes of sunlight add on to the heat while leaving less time at night to cool off.
