perhaps it's a bias, but it would please me to have i&o in sa (on the riverwalk though? what?) and i personally disagree with the comparison with whataburger. five guys is pretty close though, so i'm glad those are here now. but like another poster already said, to each thier own. i'm just genuinely curios as to why folks seem so on edge over this particular chair, having not seen such a negative response in other restaurant threads.

Nobody's joking about shooting people over a restaurant. Did you really glean that from my comment? We're joking about shooting the same people for posting the same ridiculous claim over and over and over again.

"Disney is coming!" "In and Out Burger is coming!" "I spoke with someone PERSONALLY!" "I know so-and-so and they said!"

Round 'em up, line 'em up, and at the very least, pelt them with watermelon seeds.

I visisted an In and Out in Santa Anna a couple of years ago. My coworkers from the office there raved about it...

Burger King and Wendy's are much better. As is Carl's Jr.

Maybe because I only want BBQ sauce on my burgers and In-and-out did not have any BBQ sauce.

As long as San Antonio still has a Murf's/Better Boy somewhere, I don't care about anything else.

well, someone was joking about shooting someone over this thread which was kind of... um, unique

i get what everyone's saying though. it certainly won't kill san antonio to not have more places to eat in it. seems like every new strip mall i see being built is mostly food!

as a former Californian, I can give my 02 cents, personally I hate whataburger the bread has a gluish taste to it, but the meal number 8 kicks ass!!! and I've never been so raved about I&O their milkshakes on the other hand... but personally I prefer Carl's JR
