I have asked my childrens student council and my kids have offered to help the kids and families in Haiti. Do anyone have any ideals. The student council is not a very big group and the teacher say they are doing various projects but still want to help do anyone have any ideals on what they can do. I though maybe making some cards for some of the kids or collecting peanut butter would be good. I know this want help every family but we just want the the kids to take a part in helping with this crisis . Does anyone know of any military units or nurses, docs going to Haiti maybe they can bring the cards from our kids to give to some patients to brighten their day.

I know personnel from Wilford Hall Medical Center have gone, as one of our son's doctors was with them. However, for security reasons I would recommend against naming individuals or units.this web page (http://www.whmc.af.mil/main/contactus.asp - broken link). The kiddos are makeing cards to give to kids who may be sick we know we cannot accomadate everyone but this is important. I am waiting on the school to get back with me. I will follow up asap.
