There's a little place over on Bandera, Brothers Pizza & Sports Bar, ..... I have never been, but it is a place I would go because I think you'd be able to 'hear' there.... LOL....

Brothers Pizza & Sport Bar
(210) 520-5050
8425 Bandera Road Suite 106
San Antonio, TX 78250

maybe I'll see you there.... LOL

it's at Bandera and Guilbeau....
there's a BigLots, a Deals, a wine store, Beall's, a Starbucks, a bank....... and a few other storefronts on the strip that Brothers' is on......

oh, and did I forget to say GO SPURS!!!!!!!!!!!!! ?

As cliche as this is, I love Hooters and other sports bars. My only recommendation is to get there early. The last time I went to Buffalo Wild Wings during their playoffs a few years back, you literally had to be there 2 hours early and they were uptight about savings seats for friends on the way.

Call a few places and see if they will take reservations too. Back in '99 I waited too long and ended up without anyplace to go. Everyone told me they were booked solid and even those that did not take reservations had no available seating.

My wife made a surprising suggestion and as a result I made my first visit to a strip club in order to watch the Spurs play in their first championship. A pub or sports bar would have been much more comfortable, but the attention in the club was so fixed on the game that even the dancers sat down on stage and watched since nobody was watching them.

If you're ever around downtown head over to Blue Star in King William...Great place to watch a game and have good food and a nice microbrew.
