Besides Fertile Gardens?

I may end up at Fertile Gardens but I was wondering if there is a place where I could get some a little cheaper. I need around 5 yards, the price at Fertile Gardens is around $40/yard.

I'm looking for 1/2" - 1" size.

TIA

Have you ever heard of Keller Material? It's on ther Eastside of San Antonio off of 410 near Highway 87 (Rigsby)

Talk about Rocks!!!!! There are so many sizes, colors, blends, etc.

www.kellermaterial.com

Fertile Garden is a great place also but they have no where near the selection that Keller Material has. They will also deliver.

I love Keller......but they're not that cheap! Their selection is huge, though. I've spent way too much money there.

Rainbow Gardens on Bandera carries some rocks. Not a huge selection but it's much closer than Keller to where you are. They're very helpful and will load your truck for you. Well, so will Keller, but they're more commercial so you'd expect that from them.

Kellers has great stuff but as Saph said, I wouldn't really call them cheap. Although I have started buying all of my compost from them. They have really good compost and if you're buying by the bag you get about 4 times as much compost from Kellers that you would get from Gardenville for the same price. The bags are heavy but they will load them for you. Everytime I go there I spend way to much time looking at all of the cool items made from stone. Last time I was there they had a stone bench made of solid Jade. Wow!
