Really??? You have never heard a good thing about Churchill? I find that very hard to believe.

btw, 78248 can also be Hobby and Clark.

I think all schools above are very good, established schools with some very nice feeder neighborhoods... Personally I think 78248 is the best kept secret in town, so shhh!

Thank you. Shavano Park is a somewhat ritzy area of San Antonio. The houses mostly range from 200,000 to the millions. There is NO traffic and it is close to everything. Not far from airport and close to Stone Oak as well. Plus your less than 10 minutes from the La Cantera area.

Also the OP might want to try Hill Country Village out. I am not that familiar with that area, but I know it includes Churchill for a school and I know it is a nice area which has a convenient location.

Churchill is a good school all the NEISD schools are except for Lee mostly.

My son attended Lee for his first year of high school and it was a pretty good school. He was sorry that we moved after his freshman year.......he ended up at Churchill. Churchill probably had the edge but not really by much.

Central location; own police force and fire department; stable neighborhood, no corporate or military turnover every four years; little traffic, Central Market; property values that are stable to increasing due to no more available land vs. a Stone Oak clear cut and build with the residents up in arms with no recourse.

Shavano Park has their own police force too I believe. They are more strict on speeding though. They also have a good HEB called Alon Market right next to the BIG Jewish Community Center. Personally I prefer the Alon Market HEB over the Central Market one.

Little traffic in Alamo Heights? Usually Broadway is packed. Good thing everything is close in Alamo Heights though so no worries
