I was wondering if there was a gay community in San Antonio?

The easy answer to your question will be "yes," judging from a quick search of the forum.

The thread below from a couple of years ago should provide some answers to more specific and related questions.

A lot of transsexuals would ask the same question. Transsexuals are thrown in there because of similar paths and also the alliance for acceptance (ideally) within the LGB community.

Lots of Trans people have tried to fit into the homosexual standard, as many homosexuals tried fitting into the heterosexual standard. So there is a similar experience Trans & LGB share.

You may have met many pre and post-op Trans people, a lot are very passable. You'd be surprised who is serving you at a restaurant or preparing your taxes.

Sorry if I offended anyone or left anyone out. I am a lesbian and my family and I are moving to SA on the 15th of May. Just wanted to know how to connect with the community.
