Last year I had a planned c-section for my 10 lb son and I am planning on having a VBAC with my next child.
I was told today that it is hard to find doctors that will take VBAC patients that had a single-layer incision c-section, but that they do exist!
I have no clue where to start, so I guess I am looking for a list of VBAC friendly doctors who deliver at VBAC friendly hospitals.
Thank you!

Did you have double sutures done? My ob's office only does vbac's if you had double sutures done. They are Lone Star Ob/gyn. Good luck! We're going for a second and there isn't enough money in the world for me to voluntarily have another c-section. I would have to be seriously just this side of dead for them to do that to me again.

Well they requested my op report to see if I had single vs double but I am ultimately looking for a DR that would do it regardless. I have been researching the single vs double suture thing and most of the studies done have found that it made no difference which were done in women who had VBACs.
I actually met with Lonestar yesterday and she made it seem pretty hopeless for me because she's convinced I have single sutures. I might end up having to go to Austin or something.

I'm curious. I'm trying for a VBAC too and have appts. set up with Womens Partners and Lonestar. Did you find anyone for VBAC with single sutures. I don't know what I had yet but just requested my OB report which will take days to get.
