The dh cut the line but we weren't liable. They marked it wrong, they're liable. I was still pissed at them, as was my neighbor.

My system was already installed, but my neighbor recently had one installed, and I was amazed to see they installed the entire system in 1 day, this including trenching and we dont have small lots. A couple of guys came early in the morning and the system was working that night.

My only advise is to not get the traditional old fashion heads that make a lot of noise and got back & forward. They waste so much water by making too much mist and those heads always break.

Get the cylindrical "gear drive" ones or the really cool and new "Bellagio style" water saving heads.

Anyway I believe around $3-4K is about the right price.
I would also verify that the installers did in fact call the "Call Before You Dig Numbers" and had your yard checked out before they do any trenching.

Good Luck
