Sounded like from the newspaper article a couple of days ago that these signings he does usually draw adults wearing Ghostbusters gear. I don't think I would like to see that.

I heard him doing a phone interview on Lisle & Hahn this morning and he said he would sign anything: Ghostbusters stuff, DVD's, etc., not just the vodka. He sounded really cool. He said people could come get some Ghostbusters stuff signed and then sell it on Ebay and make some money.

You have a great point. When actors become typecast and try new ventures does their old fan base allow them to break away?

Fans could show up as Coneheads or dressed in awful plaid ala "Two wild and crazy guys"....lol. Not a good sight for sure!

But I would pay to see him do his impersonation of Julia Child again. Too funny!

Had no idea he had this whole wine making business. Anyone try some?

At an Elephant and Castle in Toronto last summer, located right next to our hotel.

So more than one night I had a few glasses of his wine, I think it was a Cab. blend. Dan Aykroyd Wines (http://www.danaykroydwines.com/Our-Wines/1 - broken link)#

Heard a great podcast on NPR last year where he insisted that diners should be able to order a bottle of wine at any establishment for under $50. He said that even he won't spend more than that for a bottle of wine. His goal is to create wines that are drinkable and affordable for all and for entertaining...wines that can be bought by the case for parties and will be liked by all and won't break the bank for the host.
