The bad thing is that I just finished buying all the trees that I need.

But I just got a pamphlet saying that Seguin's Schulz nursery is closing, they are selling everything 50% and it started today (May 18th)
They are open from 9am to 5pm.

You mean Schulz Nursery in Seguin, right??
They have two other locations, and those stay in business, right?

No, only the Seguin place is closing, but they already started the sale in Seguin:

on Wed, May 12, 10 at 10:22

Schulz is closing for good, they have all their plants 40% off, decent selection. Got variegated angel trumpets for $3 and native gaura for $3 each, a HUGE crinum with a ton of babies for <$20, some Tx star and a few other things.

Schultz Nursery in Seguin is having a closing sale. It used be just a wholesale nursery then a few years back they opened it to the public. The newsletter makes it sound like they are closing it for good. On the other side of Seguin but also on 123 is Garden Gate which still has some good plants and sometimes some deals. The Schultz nursery in Marion is still going but they are not what they used to be years ago.

I used to wholesale to them some back when I worked as a greenhouse grower

they had an impressive operation wonder why they are closing

I also saw the other day on Google Earth that the place I used to work at was cleared off (all the greenhouses gone) and the land was for sale on another site

hope my former boss is cashing in like he had planned on though now seems not to be the best time for that

The nursery is a tough business, and there is a limited variety of plants which you can grow in San Antonio soil ( unlike Houston ).
