Does anybody know where I can buy some Hibiscus Tea here in San Antonio? I checked GNC and it doesn't look like they carry it. The Whole Foods website doesn't have a list of products. I'd like to get some to try as I hear it helps with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I found some online at Dragonwater Teas but the shipping seemed excessively high. If the stuff seems to work and I like drinking it I might just go buy a plant and grow my own.

You might have some luck at Sun Harvest. As a side note, and I'm not a doctor, but my mom takes red yeast rice for her high cholesterol.

Thanks Saph, I can't get the Sun Harvest Website to open. I'll try later. I'll check out the possibilities of red yeast rice. I can't take statins.

How about Mad Hatter's Tea? I just googled Hibiscus tea, San Antonio. One of the reviews said they also sold bulk tea. Maybe give them a call.

I finally found some at Whole Foods but it was pretty expensive. Later on I found it at HEB for a very reasonable price. I now drink Hibiscus Tea in place of coffee. It seems to keep my blood pressure on an even keel. And tasty too!

Hibiscus tea huh? Hmmm...Does it have any medicinal effect? Sounds interesting. Maybe I'll try it and see what it's like. Do you drink it hot or cold?
