Actually, I was going down Fredericksburg Road Saturday night and drove right past Alamo Pizza. There was a large crowd and they had a band playing. It looked like a fun scene, and it appears to get a lot of good reviews.

It looked like a nice place to check out, maybe next weekend...

Had to revive the thread....I had Luciano's Pizza for the first time tonight....EXCELLENT!! Reminded me of home. If you're from the Northeast especially, check it out.

They have a location at Westover Hills now....

Tried Fralo's once and not too bad, Deco Pizza on Fred Rd is horrible dont try it. Got food poisoning from there, never again.

Luciano's. That's the one at the North Star Mall food court, correct?

I like their "thick" pizza. I'm not sure what it is called. But their regular NY style has always seemed kind of average.

Yeah, we were really disappointed with Deco - cardboard! Blech.

Sapore's on Hillcrest is really good.
