Can anyone who has actually lived in Moreno Valley recently shed some light on some of the nicer areas of the city? I'd really appreciate any information you can supply.

Thanks in advance,

I posted in your "commute to L.A." thread also. I lived and worked out there for the last 26 years. There are several areas throughout the city that are really pretty nice. If you prefer a quiet more country life look to the east end of town. There are some wonderful homes north and south of Ironwood between Moreno Beach and Redlands Blvd. with at least 1/2 acre of land. Below the 60 and east of Nason is a mixture of older homes with some land and newer tract homes (some probably brand new as they were just starting to build when I moved out) all the way down to and south of Alessandro Blvd. There are some very nice homes, again some are brand new, around the area of the golf course in the south end of town. The northwest part of town is mainly tract homes and the neighborhoods are generally in good shape. At the risk of making people that live there and read this thread mad I will not comment on the rest of the city. If you have any specific questions you can always shoot me a PM.

Lived in the NW foothills off Morton north of Ironwood for several years, and it was fine. Neighborhood is not evolving that well, though, and Seneca (the elementary school) has gone from a GATE magnet to a struggle. Could consider Orange Terrace or Mission Grove areas of eastern Riverside.
