I am looking to relocate for my DH's job from NC to the area of Victorville,Oak Hills,Or Phelan. We are originally from NJ and have lived in NC for about 3 years now. We have 2 goats so I need a plot that is at least 2 acres . What can you tell me about these areas?

Victorville, Oak Hills, or Phelan...
To be honest, they all are questionable. Victorville will have the most shopping but double the problems with crime and drugs. Phelan and Oak Hills are good but are isolated. Try looking into Lake Arrowhead or Crestline. They are both in the mountains but the commute will be a breeze most of the year.

You might want to check with V'ville, Hesperia and OH about the goats. The first two because they might have city regulations, OH because they might have deed restrictions, if I recall correctly. Phelan, no problem. Another place to look at is Lucerne Valley.

Phelan, Pinon Hills, El Mirage are all areas where you shouldn't have a problem with goats....Oak Hills you might get lucky and find something. If I had to choose between Hesperia or Victorville I would go with Hesperia. But you will have to look in the far outer area's of Hesperia....the mention of Lucerne Valley or even Apple Valley next to the Mariana's maybe....however the first there are a for sure bet.
