Hey, all... I was wondering if the area of Newberry Springs at Stonehinge Road and National Trails highway is a good place for riding an ATV, or if it's nothing but wet clay/mud?

I assume you have permission from a landowner? Otherwise, it's all platted, private land out to Troy Road, and I'm pretty sure the property owners don't want offroaders creating a liability for them while they tear up their land. Beyond Troy Road is open desert with some protected areas and the Marine base.

Directly South of the end of Stonehinge by a little shy of a mile. Runs E/W. If you can't find it on GE use GM.

Well does anyone know if Troy Lake is dry this time of year, or is it just one big mudhole, lol?
