Drink plenty of water and try not to get over weight. When I was 30-50 lbs over weight it was harder to handle.

When I was young I played football in full gear in the middle of the day in severe heat, we ran sprints until we puked and back then they didn't give us water unless we got the play down right or if we ran sprints fast enough or up downs.

Ever since then the heat doesn't bother me.

I suggest drinking plenty of water and then exercise in the heat of the day. Everything after that will feel much easier.

(If you experienced the worse situations in the heat, then everything else will be easier, the more you spend outside in the heat, the more you will get use to it, also you need a strong mind, I can feel a cool breeze at 105 degrees)

Keep your air conditioning on 80 degrees, you don't want to make yourself weak and a sissy.

I could get used to this! I'm out here now visiting and it feels glorious after the overcast, cold mornings at the beach. My daughter still hasn't used the AC yet but it hasn't been that hot out here. When I spent four months ot here it got to the point that anything over 105 seemed hot. I think that she will survive. Her apartment stays quite cool being downstairs. The apartment only gets a short bit of sun in the late afternoon.

Summers are gorgeous here! Like others have said, drink plenty of water. In all honesty, you should be able to adjust although it's more of a subjective thing.
