Even any little taco trucks, wow I really can't believe I haven't seen any out here, (especially Fontana or Rialto) where are the good Tacqueria's that stay open all night? Or even Restaurants (like Tams?) that are real hamburgers combined w/Mexican or steak/chicken plates?

Do I really have to be in Los Angeles for that?

There is this restaurant near the corner of Sierra/Valley across from Stater Bros that is usually open 24/7. I think it's Spires, Norms, or some variation of it.
Then there's this Mexican restaurant behind the Vallarta near the same intersection that stays open 24/7, but during the weekends only.

I'm pretty sure at least one Alberto's (near Arlington/Magnolia in Riverside) is open 24 hours. Not sure about the others. Norm's is another 24 hour one, as was mentioned earlier.

Theres Alberto's on Orange St in Redlands, (coulda sworn I saw another Alberto's on Redland's Blvd, not too far from La Rosita Drive in) but anyhow, not 24 hours, but it stays open weekends Fri-Sun till 12am, so for me/us, its as good as it gets, I think might have even saw a taco truck a few times really late parked in front of some liquor store in Yuciapa (don't know if its still there).....

Obviously there isn't the demand, or there would be more places.

When we moved here in 1975, I remember a 24-hour Vons supermarket near us, but that didn't last.

With Norton AFB, Kaiser and the BNSF shops gone there aren't the number of shift workers, other than police, firefighters and hospital staff.

There is virtually no nightlife downtown San Bernardino. Riverside is better, but it's not of the 'round-the-clock variety.

Corky's off Riverside on the 210 is 24/7. Norms' is always 24/7 but you have to literally be on drugs to want to get there. Not drunk cause even being blitzed on liquor won't give you enough motivation to eat there.

I don't like Denny's but if you are gonna eat that late, you obviously don't care about your diet so what difference does it make?

Taco trucks/food trucks are illegal in San Bernardino county to roam around like in Los Angeles. They are only allowed at special events with permission per the county on a recent vote. Food trucks are unfair competition to restaurants. The last thing San Bernardino county needs are trucks everywhere like in L.A. and parked in front of established restaurants that have gigantic overhead.

I don't think you'll find too many 24/7 taquerias in the area because theres much less population here than in L.A. Its not feasible for them to be open 24/7. I'm not sure if the [San Diego's] Alberto's chain opens 24/7. I know many of their places in San Diego are 24/7. There's an Alberto's with drive through at the corner of Sierra/Foothill in Fontana.

-Cheers.
