I dont hate cops but i surely dont put them or any public servant on a pedastal. The last time i had any contact with the police was in august 2009 (tinted windows ticket). I dont go out & look for trouble & i do obey most laws. The police have a tough job & i totally respect that but some cops shouldnt be cops.

I went shopping at the beaumont walmart yesterday. Its much better & cleaner then the redlands walmart + no pan handlers (i havent encountered any). The traffic though on highland springs is a *****. I wouldnt mind working at the beaumont store. The cashiers at beaumont seem nicer & more knowledgable then the redlands store. When was at the redlands store not long ago 2 cashiers gave me a hard time with a free coupon for dry cat food from purina i had. This has never happened in beaumont. The pop in beaumont is almost 39k now.

The Walmart in Redlands is ghetto and unsafe in my opinion. I lived in Loma Linda for 3 years. I would never live in that area again. I went to that Walmart occasionally because it was the closest one and they had $1.50 happy meals on certain days, lol. Anyways, I avoided going to that Walmart after dark unless I had another friend with me. Heck even in the daytime I tried to get people to go with me whenever I went to that Walmart.

The panhandlers are plenty there. I think the best thing is to avoid contact, be aware of your surroundings, get to your car quickly, load and leave. Go with a friend whenever possible.

I agree with what others are saying, go to Target instead. There's a Target of Tennesee St or something like that in Redlands. It is in an outdoor shopping complex... much cleaner and safer to wonder around. I felt okay going there by myself, and after dark as well, lol.

Lock and load? What is that? How am I to load my car if I lock it? ... I know, I probably sound really ditzy, but I really don't know! LOL.

Are you surprised? Plenty of other options outside of Wal-Mart.

True, but they only sell food. Walmart sells just about everything.

I can't believe the crazies are up at 3am in the morning asking for money. I remember when the area was really nice and had no rift raft going on. They need to have a 24 hour Wal-Mart some place else.

The Wal-Mart in Redlands makes the one in San Bernardino near University Parkway seem SAFE!
