I am moving in the next two months to Southern Cali Riverside area and we want a good area with nice people and low crime. I know that there are any places that are perfect. We want a nice house around 1500 a month give or take a few bucks. Any ideas..?

Raising your budget would be a good place to start. You will have better luck finding an apartment or townhouse for that price. If you find a house for $1500, chances are it won't be the best neighborhood.

Depends on the size of house you're looking for. If you're looking for something 2,000 square feet or more, then your budget will probably need to be closer to $2,000. You might be able to find something in your budget that's more like 1300-1500 square feet. What type of neighborhood are you looking for? There are lots of different neighborhoods that could potentially meet your needs. Orangecrest and Mission Grove are kinda the go-to family neighborhoods in Riverside. I'd also recommend looking at Canyon Crest or potentially La Sierra if work is more to the west. If you're looking for something older (and with more character) than look in the Wood Streets neighborhood, Downtown, or Magnolia Center.
