perhaps a gold country or rural California sub-forum as well, It's hard for those of us in the sticks to have a place to call our own

Why not combine the San Francisco, San Jose forum and add Oakland and call it the Bay Area forum. Both SF and Oakland are within about 40 miles of San Jose and SF is about 10 miles from Oakland.

I agree with that suggestions.

I think it might be best to have different Inland Empires. California is a vast state with many different empires.

Inland Empire

that prettry much covers the whole state

The question is where do the tweeners post like Claremont Ontario Pomona. Parts are technically LA County but most consider the IE

I say no because there will be too many confusing different areas. What is "Inland Empire" anyway? Inland of San Diego? LA County? Riverside or San Bernardino Counties? Is Palmdale part of the Inland Empire?

And some of the people above think it has to do with San Francisco...???!! I vote for "just leave it alone!!!"

It is just about common knowledge that the Inland Empire is San Bernardino and Riverside counties, near LA.
