I'm not a big cook, not to mention care to do all the clean-up afterwards. Does anyone know of any UPSCALE hotels or restaurants having Thanksgiving buffets in the following areas?

Rancho Cucamonga
Ontario
Upland
Claremont
Pomona
Chino
Chino Hills
Montclair
Diamond Bar
San Dimas

I'm willing to drive within a 40 minute radius from Rancho Cucamonga (...possibly to Los Angeles).

The Disneyland Thanksgiving Buffet, at the Disneyland Hotel. We go almost every year. It's around $80 Pp and really fun! It's held in a banquet room with a live jazz band playing Christmas songs. There are several identical buffets so you don't have to walk far. They have a cold buffet with cheeses, deli meat, shrimp, crab, green salads, pasta & potato salad etc. There's the hot foods with all the meats, potatoes, breads, stuffing. There's a big dessert bar with a chocolate fountain and stuff like marshmallows, rice krispie squares and fruit to dip in it, plus all the other desserts like custards, pies and cakes. They also have a kids buffet.

After dinner we walk around Downtown Disney and all the shops are open late and they have numerous entertainers performing on the street.

They begin taking reservations 60 days out from Thanksgiving and they do sell out fast. They've started taking CC info to secure your table with a 72hr cancellation policy so not so many no-shows on the day and it makes it easier to get reservations as people are more inclined to cancel rather than be charged if they don't.

I took video of the buffet in 2009. It's impressive

OP back again for TG 2015 to see if anyone knows of any new places for TG BUFFET? Money's a bit tight, so don't really want to spend any more than $25-30/person.

Cade, that sounds really nice!

I made reservations for Pomona Valley Mining Company & the price was good at $25/person & the drive was good...not far! The food was great. They actually had a few non-traditionally TG dishes too, such as these fabulous cheese enchiladas, which aren't even normally on their year-round menu. I'd go there again for TG, but I'll try to go someplace different. If I can't find a place, it just might be here again!
